Friends! It’s been a while since I have blogged but what better way than to come back to the web than with THIS engagement session?! I mean, just look at it all. The weather worked for us that day, not one drop of rain during our session and all of the cloudy goodness! Maria and Cody are amazingly perfect; they brought their dog, Chet, to the session which made me grin from ear to ear! He is a fur ball of adorable-ness (is that a word?). And, let’s talk about Maria’s dress – I LOVVVEEEEE IT!! She found it at Forever21 and it was on clearance! Winner winner!! Read on to learn more about this amazing couple!

Congrats on your engagement Maria and Cody!! <3! I had so much fun adventuring with you at Vasquez Rocks!

What is your proposal story?

He proposed to me on June 24, 2016. He planned a romantic dinner at home with roses and candle lights. Being at home is our favorite since we work a lot so it was the perfect evening.

Why did you choose your engagement location and what do you love about it?

We were in between Vasquez Rocks and the Colorado Street Bridge but we love nature and its been the theme to our wedding panning so decided to pick the more natural location.

What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their engagement session?

I would suggest they enjoy as many of these moments as possible and take advantage of planning an engagement shoot as a date night type of activity and as a memory of your wedding planning.

What is your favorite thing about being engaged?

I love knowing that we will be spending the rest of our lives together and being able to plan the biggest party we will ever have together is also very fun!
