I’m truly thankful for the wonderful couples I get to work with and though this year has been a doozy… it has also been a year of continued growth XO and Fetti. Camille and Leo booked our team during a time of uncertainty, and they trusted that we’d capture their love with all the magic in our hearts and for that I am extremely grateful.  I am thrilled to share their engagement story with you all today – captured masterfully by our Associate, Jennifer!

Their picnic overlooking the ocean at Malaga Cove and their time at the plaza is simply romantic. I am in love with how beautiful everything turned out! Congrats Camille and Leo!!

How did you meet?

Leo and I met through an online dating app called Hinge. We were each other’s first date on the app. We both came from long term relationships and were reluctant on dating again.

What is your proposal story?

On March 20, 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic where places are being closed and businesses are being shutdown, Leo casually told me that we will be visiting the place where we had our second official date. It’s a hidden spot in Palos Verdes overlooking the ocean. He told me wanted to take me on a sunset stroll. I, casually put on some leggings and a sweater, not knowing that one of the biggest moments I had ever dreamed of was about to unfold. So we walked to the exact spot, Leo led me to an area that was set up beautifully including a picnic basket, blanket, rose petals shaped in a big heart, and bouquet of flowers. I initially thought another couple was having their picnic date. However, as I walked closer, I noticed a very familiar blanket that Leo once used for our second date. I then realized that the picnic set up overlooking the ocean was all planned by Leo. He went down on one knee and popped the question, “Will you marry me?”. I gave an emotional and teary-eyed “YES!” We then enjoyed the sunset together as we returned to the place where it all happened.

Why did you choose your engagement location and what do you love about it? 

We chose Palos Verdes because Leo and I had our second date there. Also, we often go there to have picnic dates or even just going for a stroll.

What did you enjoy the most during your engagement session?

I enjoyed the photoshoot and video shoot the most. It’s a great time to capture our story and it’s beautiful to see the artistry and creativity of our photographers & videographers.

What is your most valuable piece of advice you can share with future couples planning their engagement session? 

Choose the right vendors and be willing to spend much for great quality and amazing service/experience.

What is your favorite thing about being engaged?

My favorite thing is the planning stage of the theme, colors, mood of our wedding.
