I am so excited to share Kaitlynn and Jordan’s wedding on the blog today!! Their romantic blush Californian Ranch wedding was held at the beautiful Harmony Estate located in Murrieta, CA. This estate is a perfect destination venue as it includes plenty of space for family and friends to stay on property and can host both a ceremony and reception! This venue also served as inspiration for Kaitlynn as she desired a setting that would honor Jordan’s Texas roots. We loved that the day felt like a beautiful blend of Timeless Californian Romance and Fun, Flirty Southern vibe.

Share your inspiration and the atmosphere you created for your wedding.

We wanted our love story to be captured as best as possible through our wedding details. We wanted to create a romantic and timeless event that encompassed my southern California background with Jordan’s Texas roots. Personal touches and details were important to us in creating our rustic fairytale.
My inspiration drew mainly from wanting everyone to feel that they belonged, were loved, and wanted at our event. I wanted this wedding to be a celebration of our love story and all of the people who helped us get to this moment. Important elements for us were florals, photo/video, and venue. We wanted the rustic vibe without being over the top. Texas Meets California was our brand, and we tried our best to build upon that.

What was your color palette and your style vision?

Our color pallet is different variations of blush, rose petal, and soft pinks. Staying true to the timelessness of the event, we incorporated a lot of whites and ivory with touches of gold and greenery.

What unique elements or DIY details did you include?

Some of my favorite unique elements were our thrifted candlesticks, our rotary phone guest book, and our remembrance chair.
we thrifted every single candlestick for our reception to create an eclectic vibe with antique touches. Our guest book is an audio recording phone that will allow us to listen to our loved ones’ well wishes forever! Lastly, our remembrance chair was reserved for all those we have lost over the years. It was placed in one of the rows of the ceremony so that our heavenly family and friends could be in attendance too.
