My husband asked, “how did your engagement session go?” To which I answered, “Oh my gosh, it was fantastic! These two are some of the nicest people I’ve met. We ended the night, watching the sunset, with our feet in the sand and beer in our hands. We even saw dolphins!”
“Sounds romantic,” he commented.
I chuckled and quickly realized that had it not been for my camera sitting next to me, I would have totally felt like the third wheel in that romantic scene!
I’m so grateful to have met these two and to have documented part of their journey; their joyful smiles and laughter throughout our session truly left an imprint on my life.
{ Thank you Jesse & Todd for the opportunity to document your engagement! Wishing you all the best in your marriage and life! }
Check out their story below!
We met online (go Match.com) and instantly hit it off. We did long distance for about a year, and then decided it was time to move in together! A few months later, we were engaged!
Todd took me for a beautiful hike one Saturday morning. At the top of the hill, he opened up a backpack he had been carrying and had champagne, glasses, and the ring! It was simple and perfect for us!
I think what I’ve learned so far is just to take lots of deep breathes, and enjoy the adventure of wedding planning. When it comes to engagement sessions, just try and find a great location and have fun!
The location we were looking for is really about just having beautiful pictures that reflect two things we love..nature/trees and also the beach, because who doesn’t love the beach!
My favorite part about being engaged is the feeling that’s sinking in that I get to spend my life with this amazing person , and just how excited I am about the future!
XO,
V
