Nestled in the Glen Oaks Mountains, Serendipity Garden Weddings is a breathtaking venue that embraces the beauty of every season. For Marissa & Kyle, this enchanting location—with its white rose bushes, panoramic mountain views, and intimate outdoor setting—was the perfect place to say, “I do.” Their vision was simple yet timeless: a romantic winter wedding filled with elegant details, heartfelt moments, and a celebration that felt truly personal.
The day began at Khrya Beaucrest Ranch, a stunning estate with picturesque mountain views and a tranquil setting, where the couple got ready and shared their intimate first look before heading to the ceremony. Recently featured on Magnolia Rouge, their wedding proved that love shines through even the unexpected. A soft drizzle turned their day into a cozy, intimate celebration, elevating the romance and creating ethereal wedding portraits that they will cherish forever.
Marissa & Kyle’s journey began in a grocery store—a love story written between the bakery and produce aisles.
“Kyle and I met while working at Stater Bros. He worked in produce, and I was in the bakery. I always found excuses to go talk to him because I had the biggest crush on him.”
Years later, in the comfort of their home, Kyle planned the perfect proposal—a quiet, thoughtful moment that reflected their deep connection.
“For our six-year anniversary, we planned a cozy night in with Thai food and movies. To my surprise, when I got home, I found a candlelit dinner, red roses, and a fire pit glowing outside. As we made s’mores, Kyle asked me to pass the graham crackers, and I felt a ring box. We were happily engaged, celebrating with family who came over to toast with champagne.”
Before heading to their ceremony, Marissa & Kyle spent the morning at Khrya Beaucrest Ranch, an elegant retreat with a perfect blend of rustic charm and luxury. The estate’s expansive views and peaceful atmosphere set the scene for a morning of excitement, final touches, and heartfelt anticipation.
The couple chose to share a private first look on the ranch’s scenic grounds, surrounded by towering trees and rolling hills. The moment was filled with tears, joy, and quiet words exchanged between them—a chance to pause and soak in the emotions before the big day unfolded.
“Seeing each other for the first time that day was one of our most emotional moments. The rain made everything feel even more magical.”
With mist rolling over the Glen Oaks Mountains, the couple exchanged vows in a setting that felt dreamlike. As they stood beneath a floral-adorned arch, surrounded by family and friends, the soft patter of rain only enhanced the romance of the moment.
“Our vows were the most important part of our wedding. Promising ourselves to each other forever in front of our loved ones meant everything to us.”
Marissa & Kyle infused their reception with personal touches and fun surprises, ensuring their guests felt as much a part of the celebration as they did. One of their favorite details? DIY donut favor boxes that doubled as nameplates.
“Kyle and I put together the favor boxes for the donuts, and my brother-in-law helped apply an Etsy-bought overlay on our mirror for the seating chart.”
As the newlyweds made their grand entrance, they surprised everyone with an energetic dance to ‘Hammer Time,’ a fun nod to Kyle’s last name, Hammers.
“We wanted our wedding to reflect who we are and to feel like us—without the pressure of traditions that didn’t resonate with us.”
With candlelit tables, elegant florals by Flowers by MaeMae, and music filling the mountain air, the night unfolded in laughter, love, and unforgettable moments.
